The Fiscal Analyst 3 position at the Department of Commerce in the State of Washington is responsible for providing professional accounting, budget, contracting, and internal control services to support the department's financial health and compliance objectives. This role ensures financial compliance with state and federal regulations and accurate financial reporting for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The Fiscal Analyst 3 is responsible for new contract review and execution, loan payments, payment batch and Journal Voucher release, and overseeing the work of Accounting Program Fiscal Analyst 2 staff. This position serves as program support that provides opportunities for the citizens of the State of Washington to obtain safe and affordable housing and access to properly working infrastructure that they would otherwise not have the resources for.
